Make sure you donate/discard one item from your closet to make room for your new buy if you obtain a truly great new dress from the store. This ensures that no room in your home feels cluttered as a result of the number of new items.

 

Drawers and Open Bins Over Stacking Bins

 

If you keep your belongings in a drawer or an open bin, you’re more inclined to put them back in their place. Stacking and unstacking bins each time you want to put anything back requires more time and effort, which you may not always have when organizing. 

When you don’t feel like putting things back where it goes, you place it on a surface, and clutter begins to accumulate. Putting anything into an open bin or a drawer with organizers, on the other hand, is significantly less time consuming and requires less effort.

 

Don’t Complicate It
